We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to support high-net-worth individuals and families in accessing private-market and alternative investment opportunities, focusing on relationship management, client education, and execution support across the full client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Lead client onboarding activities, including KYC collection, understanding investment objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity considerations, and keeping client records current.
- Present and explain private-market and alternative investment strategies, including structure, risks, liquidity constraints, and fee mechanics, in a clear and professional manner.
- Coordinate closely with internal product, operations, and compliance teams to support client engagement and transaction execution.
- Manage client and prospect interactions from initial interest through completion, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate documentation.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM systems, including activity tracking, follow-up schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Organize and host client seminars, webinars, and small group events to support relationship development and lead conversion.
- Support subscriptions, redemptions, and ongoing client inquiries in collaboration with operations and fund administration teams.
- Conduct periodic client review meetings to discuss market developments and changes in client circumstances.
Compliance responsibilities
- Follow all applicable KYC, suitability, and client documentation requirements under Canadian securities regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure client communications and records meet regulatory and firm standards; escalate issues to compliance when required.
Qualifications
- 3–8+ years of experience in private wealth management, exempt market distribution, private banking, or alternative investment platforms.
- Exposure to private equity, private credit, real assets, or other alternative investments in a client-facing or client-support role.
- Strong experience in client service, relationship management, and structured follow-up processes.
- Working knowledge of Canadian securities regulations and sales-practice requirements.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Wealthbox, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Credentials or progress toward: EMP, CIM, CFA, CFP, CSC etc. is preferred.
Skills and attributes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex investment structures clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-up.
- Confident presenter in one-on-one meetings and group settings.
- Comfortable working with entrepreneurs, professionals, and multi-generational families.
Language requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Cantonese or Mandarin strongly preferred.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
