Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Cell phone with a data plan
- Clear Vulnerable sector check is required upon hire.
- DSW/PSW Certificate or equivalent that meets Ontario standards
- Able to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills.
- A current CPR certificate.
Responsibilities:
Second Family Care provides Attendant Care and in-home support services to both Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) clients and private clients.
Assist with ADLs, including: personal hygiene; incontinence care; dressing and grooming; light massage and passive ROM; ambulation, positioning and transferring; feeding by mouth; mouth care; observing and reporting changes in condition
- Assist with IADLs, including: laundry and linen change; light housekeeping; meals and nutrition; transportation planning;
- Companionship, Social and Emotional Support
- Accompaniment on Errands and to Appointments (Via Taxi)
- Medication Reminders
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
