Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager for the Utilities Division to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and proficiency with construction management software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse projects, coordinate teams, and ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Candidates should have a background in construction management and be adept at utilizing industry-standard tools and software to drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using tools like Bid2 Win, Primavera.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Aconex and other relevant tools for project tracking and documentation.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings; address any issues promptly.
- Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, owner requirements , and environmental regulations.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and reports efficiently.
- Lead project meetings to communicate updates, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Bid2Win, and schematics interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Experience with construction estimating and civil engineering concepts.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory. This position offers a dynamic work environment where leadership in construction projects is valued highly. Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
