Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dependable Class 1 Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport grain & fertilizer across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, supporting the efficient movement of goods and materials.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and long-distance grain/fertilizer deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers
Experience
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Prior experience in grain hauling is advantageous.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus.
- Proven ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently under various conditions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards related to freight transport.
This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
