Job duties:
Strategize and manage the end-to-end operational logistics of a courier/package delivery company.
Supervise fleet logistics, ensuring all vehicles are dispatched efficiently and maintained to high standards.
Administer financial resources, overseeing departmental budgets and strategic asset procurement.
Analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in scheduling and corporate policy.
Lead talent acquisition and coordinate comprehensive professional development programs for staff.
Responsible for people and team leadership, customer and client management, compliance and risk
management, vendor and partner management, and policy-making.
Skills Requirements:
Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively.
Significant relevant operational management experience.
Significant logistics experience.
Substantial experience managing contracts.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Fleet and asset management experience.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Previous work experience with a courier company is preferred.
