Part-Time Medical Receptionist
Multidisciplinary Clinic – North York
We are a growing healthcare organization with multiple clinics across the Greater Toronto Area, offering a wide range of medical services and products. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our busy multidisciplinary clinic in North York.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within a dynamic and expanding healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, register them upon arrival, and collect insurance and required personal information
- Answer and direct incoming calls, or assist callers as needed
- Support patients in completing required forms
- Schedule and manage appointments for new and returning patients
- Contact patients to confirm upcoming appointments and coordinate off-site testing
- Maintain accurate patient records, including personal and billing information
- Process payments, billing, and insurance claims
- Educate patients on clinic procedures and policies
- Respond to inquiries and information requests in a timely manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with EHC, MVA, WSIB, ODSP, and Slip & Fall cases is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent situations
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable team player
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
- Must be available to work Saturdays
