We are seeking a motivated Farm Machinery Operator to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient planting and harvesting processes. Your expertise will help optimize farm productivity while adhering to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the success of the farm’s operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy farm machinery such as tractors, harvesters, Rock Pickers and excavator with precision and care
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on farm equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal performance
- Use basic math skills for measuring land areas, calculating seed or fertilizer quantities, and adjusting machine settings accordingly
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks related to loading supplies, moving equipment parts, or handling materials around the farm site
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational logs
- Follow safety protocols during all machinery operation and manual tasks to prevent accidents and injuries
Experience
- 7 months of Prior experience operating farm machinery or heavy equipment is required.
Pay: $27.50-$29.00 per hour
