We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our busy optical practice!
This is a full-time position in a fast-paced optical environment. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, reliable, and enjoys working with patients while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist patients with frame selection and eyewear styling
- Take measurements and assist with optical dispensing
- Process orders, repairs, adjustments, and lab work
- Provide support with patient bookings and general administrative tasks
- Maintain an organized and professional optical environment
- Work closely with the optometrist and optical team to ensure an excellent patient experience
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships
Qualifications
- Previous optical experience/sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Optical dispensing experience is an asset
