Sunnybrook School is seeking a supply teacher for JK to Grade 6 students.
About Sunnybrook School:
Sunnybrook School is a small, well-established IB PYP school located in Mid Toronto, ON. We are a vibrant, co-ed elementary school from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. Small class sizes, caring teachers, and strong academics inspire our students to become independent, knowledgeable, and confident learners with an understanding of their world, locally and globally. Our innovative international curriculum helps them to develop skills and knowledge, and nurtures their personal, creative, and academic growth. We were the first school in Ontario to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program which is further enriched at SBS with Singapore Math and a strong French program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- Certified in Standard First Aid, including Infant & Child CPR – Level C
- Current criminal reference check, vulnerable sector screening will be requested
- IB trained (preferred)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To maintain a positive and consistent approach that is compatible with the philosophy and values of the IB
- To supervise the children at all times, ensuring a safe environment
- To maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times
