About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Traffic Clerk to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, coordination, and follow-ups, ensuring the seamless movement of inbound and outbound shipments. In this role, you will be the central point of contact between drivers, warehouse teams, suppliers, and internal departments—ensuring timely and accurate shipment handling and documentation.
Shift- Sunday- Thursday
Time: 6 AM- 2:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination
- Schedule, monitor, and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of produce goods.
- Utilize iTrade to track, confirm, and manage orders and shipment status.
Documentation & System Management
- Prepare and verify bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other logistics documents.
- Use Produce Pro to manage inventory and maintain accurate product information.
- Maintain vehicle and shipment logs in logistics systems.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as the main communication link between drivers, warehouse teams, and logistics staff.
- Provide frequent follow-ups through email, phone, and other communication tools.
- Resolve shipment-related issues quickly and professionally.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all shipments follow transportation regulations and company procedures.
- Report discrepancies or damaged product through Produce Pro.
Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized shipment records for audits and operational tracking.
- Manage data related to schedules, freight costs, and transportation records.
Training & Team Support
- Participate in ongoing training and be open to learning new systems and processes.
- Support and train team members when necessary.
- Step into support roles during staffing gaps or peak business periods.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on consistent follow-up.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using logistics software (iTrade, Produce Pro, SAP, TMS, or similar).
- Problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics processes.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination preferred.
