Maintenance and Quality Technician
Location: Saskatoon | Start Date: Immediately
Are you someone who takes pride in doing things right—the first time? Do you see what others miss, respond with urgency, and genuinely care about how people experience their homes?
At CIAQI & Envision Real Estate Services, we’re reimagining property management—where excellence isn’t just about fast fixes, it’s about thoughtful, proactive care. We’re looking for a Maintenance and Quality Technician who can be our eyes and ears in the field, helping us protect our properties and serve our residents with respect, speed, and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
This is a field-based, hands-on role focused on delivering responsive maintenance and proactive care. You’ll move between properties, manage small repair tasks, support residents with and ensure every home meets our standards.
You'll:
- Conduct regular property inspections (periodic, move-in, and move-out) with an eye for detail and proactive upkeep
- Complete handyman-level repairs (non-licensed)—things like drywall patches, caulking, lock changes, small painting, etc.
- Provide on-site support during maintenance emergencies, assessing the situation and coordinating next steps
- Perform occasional posting and signage tasks as needed (e.g., legal notices, vacancy signs)
- Document all findings and work clearly through our internal systems
- Communicate respectfully with residents and represent Envision with pride
- Flag risks, concerns, or improvement opportunities for properties you visit
What Success Looks Like
- Proactivity: Small issues are caught before they become big ones.
- Speed: Work orders are completed quickly and thoroughly.
- Respect: Residents feel heard, supported, and reassured when you're onsite.
- Pride: Properties are well-maintained and reflect the standards of our brand.
- Team Trust: Your documentation and feedback keep the team in the loop and ahead of the game.
Who You Are
You’re someone who takes ownership. You don’t cut corners. You notice things others miss, and you treat every property like it’s your own.
You're likely a great fit if you:
- Have experience in general property maintenance or handyman work
- Are confident with basic tools and home systems (but don’t require HVAC or electrical licensing)
- Understand the importance of both speed and detail
- Communicate professionally with residents and team members alike
- Are organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Have a valid driver’s license
