Your Role
We are looking for experienced Line Cooks to join the Penticton Lakeside Resort team in a high-paced and energetic kitchen environment. Each member of the culinary team works hard to create delicious meals for every guest that comes through our doors, ensuring they leave with a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef
- Station prep, including but not limited to, checking & restocking ingredients, and preparing equipment & supplies
- Food prep, including but not limited to, washing, peeling, or chopping vegetables, butchering proteins, mixing sauces
- Educate yourself on recipes and menu items to ensure proper presentation
- Cleaning, organizing, and restocking work station as required
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
