Our aerospace manufacturing operation is entering an exciting phase of growth. While the foundation is already in place, we're looking for a hands-on leader who will help strengthen our operations by establishing efficient processes, supporting production planning, and leading the day-to-day execution of our manufacturing activities.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how our manufacturing team operates today while helping prepare it for tomorrow.
Your Impact
As the Operations Planner / Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating visibility, alignment, and execution across our operations.
You will:
- Develop short- and medium-term production and repair schedules aligned with customer commitments.
- Coordinate priorities across Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams.
- Identify and proactively address constraints related to capacity, materials, parts, approvals, and resources.
- Improve planning methods, scheduling processes, and operational workflows.
- Analyze operational performance data and provide recommendations to improve delivery, efficiency, and productivity.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key operational performance indicators.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production departments.
- Participate in the implementation of new tools, systems, and technologies.
What You'll Bring
You are a structured thinker who enjoys solving complex operational challenges. You combine analytical skills with strong communication abilities and understand that successful execution depends on teamwork.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in aerospace planning, MRO, manufacturing, or another complex production environment.
- Strong understanding of aircraft component repair and/or manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ERP systems; Quantum experience is an asset.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into practical actions.
- Interest in continuous improvement and new technologies.
- Programming knowledge is an asset.
- English required; French is an asset.*
* The position requires excellent written and spoken English skills. The role involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, particularly from international companies, as well as regular communication with clients, suppliers, and other international stakeholders.
