Production Supervisor
We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor with experience in high-volume production settings such as liquid processing, food and beverage, paint, consumer products, or the wine industry. The ideal candidate understands filling and packaging operations or in a similar environment, is comfortable working closely with frontline production employees, and knows how to motivate teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role oversees daily production activities, maintains compliance with safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support production, filling, batching, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, GMP standards, and company policies.
- Monitor production performance and key operational metrics to meet quality and productivity targets.
- Oversee equipment startup, changeovers, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards.
- Manage staffing, attendance, scheduling, and employee development.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and external contractors while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
- Support continuous improvement projects and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in health and safety programs and cross-functional meetings.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably within food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, or consumer goods industries.
- Strong knowledge of OHSA, GMP, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and preventive maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
