We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be skilled in operating forklifts and commercial vehicles.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload freight.
- Safely transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts and handling freight.
- Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to move heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers.
- Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
