Avon Co-operative Nursery School has been an active part of the Stratford Ontario area since 1953. We are a parent-run co-operative nursery school serving children ages 18 months - 5 years from the City of Stratford and the surrounding area.
We are currently seeking individuals to join our team as Toddler/Preschool Supply Program Assistants for the September 2026 to June 2027 school year.
Details:
- These are supply positions, with hours offered based on program needs and staff availability.
- Shifts are typically scheduled Monday through Friday mornings.
- Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., although schedules may vary depending on coverage needs.
- Hourly wage will be based on qualifications and experience.
- Interviews are expected to be conducted between July 27 and August 5, 2026.
Requirements:
- A current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification must be completed prior to the start date.
- A current and up-to-date immunization record must be provided.
- Experience working with young children (up to 5 years of age) is considered a definite asset.
