7.5 hr shifts , 1 day till 7 pm , 2 days till 5pm

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional oral health services while fostering a positive patient experience. Candidates with experience in Dentrix, orthodontics, pediatrics, or bilingual abilities are highly valued. A background in dental assisting and familiarity with medical terminology will be considered advantageous. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Provide support with orthodontic or pediatric treatments when necessary
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care plans
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patients
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental management software is highly desirable
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
