Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Part Time Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. The ideal candidate will have strong office skills, proficiency with various software tools, and a professional demeanor to support our office environment effectively. This position is suitable for individuals seeking part-time work to develop their administrative experience or supplement their income. This position will require you to work 4:00-8:00pm every weekend
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, directing calls as needed
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate calendars efficiently
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software
- Handle filing, document organization, and maintain office records with attention to detail
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and assisting with basic administrative needs
- Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing mail
- Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure office supplies are stocked appropriately
- Handle employee call outs, posting and awarding of available employee shifts
Experience
- Prior office experience preferred, especially in administrative or clerical roles
- Familiarity with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems is highly desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Knowledge of data entry procedures and filing systems
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to proofread documents accurately and maintain high attention to detail
- Computer skills necessary for managing various software platforms effectively
