What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and compliance issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate tools and techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Lead apprentices and oversee assigned projects as required
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Follow all safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures
- Provide recommendations for electrical system improvements when needed
What You Bring
- Licensed 309A Journeyperson Electrician with minimum 10 years of experience
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of electrical principles, codes, and regulations
- Experience with fibre optics and network cabling
- Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial renovation work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of logic controllers is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s licence is required
Bonus Experience
Experience with fire alarm and/or security alarm systems is considered a strong asset. Candidates with this background will be given priority consideration, although it is not required for the role.
