Job Overview
GMA is seeking a qualified & professional Registered Massage Therapist, who will be able to compliment & enhance our existing services. Our clinic will be moving to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in August 2026 and we are looking to have a commission-based RMT as part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals before each session
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients
- Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in accordance with clinic policies (we use the Jane App)
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness practices
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout treatments
Qualifications
- Valid registered massage therapy license
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health, anatomy, and wellness practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and team members
- Prior experience in massage therapy or related health fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in client care
- Comfort with cross-selling as asset.
