The City of Surrey is seeking several customer-focused Officers who are interested in career development and the ability to influence positive change in our community. The Community Patrol Officer 2 (CPO 2) plays a critical role in extending bylaw enforcement services into late-evening and overnight hours, ensuring consistent, city-wide coverage seven days a week.
Operating from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM and following a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, this position addresses service gaps after standard patrol hours and enhances responsiveness to community concerns.
CPO 2s are empowered to conduct investigative work on private property¿providing enhanced operational support to Bylaw Services Officers and Bylaw Enforcement Officers. The role combines enforcement, investigation, supervision, and proactive patrol, with a strong emphasis on public safety, professionalism, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
