We are currently looking for a certified, or soon to be certified, Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our expanding outpatient clinics. Working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, you’ll explain exams, position patients, adjust equipment, perform and capture diagnostic images. Bringing compassion and clarity to each patient interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit.
This position offers flexibility, with the option of choosing between casual or part-time work. Part-time roles include Bone Mineral Density coverage 2 to 3 days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform Nuclear Medicine Exams: Conduct studies under the direction of radiologists and referring physicians, while adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines.
- Provide Remarkable Care: Explain exams and procedures, address questions, ease concerns, and help patients feel comfortable.
- Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner with radiologists and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
- Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Track equipment performance, document findings, and assist in resolving basic issues.
- Prepare and Maintain Work Areas: Clean and set up exam rooms for patients, reporting low inventory.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional Membership: Active registration (or eligibility) with CAMRT & ACMDTT as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Nuclear Medicine Experience: Clinical competency with an interest in refining and expanding skills.
- Specialized Knowledge: Exposure, or interest in developing skills, in Bone Mineral Density.

- Position Type: Casual or Part-Time as an 0.8 FTE. Part-Time applicants must be willing to work 2-3 days a week Bone Mineral Density.
- Work Location: Nuclear Medicine: Pacific Place for Nuclear Medicine. Bone Mineral Density: Pacific Place, Westhills, Sunridge, Calgary Women’s Imaging Centre, or Okotoks.
