We have new students enrolling to grow our classrooms, and are looking for two enthusiastic ECEs for our program. We want fun, positive people who are outgoing, professional, and bring their best selves to work. You must truly love children ages 2 - 4.4 and be a self-starter on the floor. Both positions are full-time and immediate start, to replace educators who are returning to school full-time. Both positions involve working in a co-teaching team with two other educators, in a mixed-age classroom of 14 - 18 children.
We prioritize applicants who have completed post-secondary training in early childhood, have floor educator experience in Canadian commercial childcare, and can work full time 40 hours a week Monday - Friday between 7AM and 5:30PM. You must be already living in the Calgary area, and cannot need work permit sponsorship. Thanks for understanding that we cannot accommodate international students for this role. Staff benefits are tangible and practical. Enjoy paid planning and cleaning time each week, a $50 monthly stipend for classroom supplies, as well as 5 paid sick days and 2 weeks' paid vacation past probation. Dress is casual. Our classrooms are bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows in all rooms, warm, neutral decor, and plenty of storage! :) Our on-site management team are ECEs themselves and work hard to support our WonderWise team professionally and transparently to create a collaborative environment. Our staff positions are salaried and above industry averages to provide predictable income - wages are discussed during interview and are aligned with experience and education. Typically, a Level 2 educator is $18++ base hourly + govt. top up, and a Level 3 is $20++ base hourly + top up.
