Above all, this role exists to support the child’s safety, wellbeing, and development. The ideal candidate is a certified Educational Assistant in BC with experience supporting children with ASD. This is a full-time, one-year term position reporting to the Household Manager and the family principals, with the possibility of extension. It is well suited to someone seeking stability and consistency, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s development. The family is looking for a dedicated professional who can build a trusting relationship with their child, understand her personality, and support her in reaching her full potential.

- Assist with before- and after-school care, play-based learning, and routine support
- Maintain consistency between school and home routines
- Support a structured home environment by assisting the family and household team with light tasks, such as keeping the family vehicle fueled and tidy, running occasional grocery errands, and helping keep shared areas clean and tidy
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
