We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Clerk to join our maintenance and operations team in Crysler.
Position Overview
The Parts Clerk is responsible for supporting the maintenance department by ordering, receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and inventory for our fleet and equipment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize parts inventory for heavy equipment and vehicles
- Order parts and supplies from approved vendors; follow up on pricing and delivery timelines
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts
- Track usage, maintain accurate records, and assist with inventory audits
- Work closely with mechanics, supervisors, and procurement staff to ensure parts availability
- Maintain a clean and organized parts room
- Assist with warranty claims, returns, and cores.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a parts clerk, parts technician, or in a related role preferred
- Knowledge of heavy equipment, truck, or automotive parts is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
- Ability to lift and move parts and supplies as required
