Wilco Contractors NW Inc. is a commercial landscape company in Fort McMurray seeking qualified Finish Grade SKID STEER OPERATORS.
Requirements: Must have 3 years experience , dependable transportation, willing to work long hours.
Shift is 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. OT after 8 hours and OT after 44 hours a week.
Applicant must have accommodations in Fort McMurray and transportation to and from work site. All our projects are in town and no work is done at "site"
Responsibilities include:
Spreading topsoil for sod prep and topdressing and grading gravel for trails
Comfortable with grading drainage swales and reading the topography for drainage
Ability to use various attachments: tree spade, sweeper, various buckets
Ability to grade topsoil, sub grade, load trucks
Ability to read grading stakes a bonus.
Ability to carve trails, grade gravel and prep trails for asphalt installation.
Operate CAT track skid steer safely and efficiently
Comfortable with safety inspections, loading skid steer onto trailer and strapping down for moving from site to site
Ability to communicate with co-workers and take direction
Ability to work under pressure
Physically able to perform all physical actions pertinent to the job, and equipment operation.
