Junior Accountant:
Herb-Joy Enterprises, an accounting firm located in the Hwy 7 and Leslie Street area of Richmond Hill, ON is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team!
Specializing in providing tax returns preparations and payroll services to clients across the United States and Canada, we are in need of a full-time entry level accounting & administrative professional to help us.About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and client support.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Income Statements and Balance Sheets using client-provided data
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of year-end working papers
- Handle and respond to tax notices received by clients
- Prepare and file corporate dissolution forms as required
- Administrative tasks as needed
- Support the accounting team with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- College diploma in Accounting or equivalent; University degree is an asset
- Minimum 1+ year of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong communication skills in English; French is an asset
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond Hill, ON
