Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in supporting daily office operations, managing patient and client interactions, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within a busy dental or medical office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience, familiarity with electronic medical records, and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional front desk support.
Duties
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient and provider inquiries efficiently
- Greet patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional front desk experience
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow using electronic medical records
- Verify insurance information, process billing, and manage patient records with accuracy
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining organized office files
- Support clinical staff by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards
- Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a professional environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist
- Strong knowledge of Dental terminology
- Prior office experience with administrative responsibilities in healthcare environments
- Excellent communication skills for front desk interactions and multi-line phone systems management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience working with dental or medical office software is highly preferred
- Professional demeanor with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
