Construction Labourer – Whitby, ON
Temporary & Long-Term Positions Available
We are hiring construction labourers for an active project in Whitby. Both temporary and long-term placements available — great opportunity for steady work on a growing site.
Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with daily site tasks (material handling, site prep, cleanup)
- Load/unload and move materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all safety protocols and site supervisor instructions
- Support various trades as needed (framing, concrete, demo, etc.)
Requirements
- Previous construction/labour experience preferred (not required)
- Valid CSA-approved safety boots and PPE
- Reliable transportation to Whitby job site daily
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong work ethic, punctual, team player
- Valid Working at Heights / WHMIS certification an asset
