Stephano Group Ltd. is a leading North American private label manufacturer specializing in high-quality cereals and snacks.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor in our food production facility in Etobicoke Ontario. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting our production processes and ensuring timely delivery of our products to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage a team, assign tasks to warehouse personnel and provide training and guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or software. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Adhere to food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines. Follow proper hygiene practices and maintain cleanliness in the receiving and shipping areas. Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts to load and unload shipments. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the proper use of equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among the warehouse team.
Requirements:
- Post secondary education.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, preferably in a food production setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or software.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as reach truck and pallet jack.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.

The salary range listed in this posting represents the expected compensation for this position based on market conditions and internal considerations. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role requirements.
