This is a Part Time 16 hour per week position. Monday and Friday. Ideal for a semi-retired individual.

Pioneer Youth Services (PYS) operates residential treatment homes in the K-W area for children and youth with behavioural, social, emotional, and psychological disorders.
We are looking to fill a part-time handyman position. This position requires an experienced individual who will be responsible for maintaining our residential homes that include painting, drywall, flooring, and general maintenance work.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Facility maintenance and/or general handyman work including: painting, minor drywall repair, ceiling tile installation, carpet and ceramic tiles repair/installation, minor carpentry, inspections, lock replacement/repair, basic plumbing, and other duties
- General knowledge to repair and maintain household appliances.
- Work independently to meet deadlines
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of general maintenance experience
- Must be able to: read and understand product assembly instructions
- Must have basic carpentry skills
- Must have larger vehicle (van or truck, mileage provided) to transport tools, supplies, wood, drywall, etc.
- Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Must have basic tools
- A police check (CPIC Broadsector)
