Marwood Ltd. a specialty manufacturer of value-added forest products is currently looking for a detail-oriented Colour Technician at our Cape Cod Siding facility in Edmundston, New Brunswick . This full-time role focuses on quality control, color matching, and precise sample preparation in our advanced coatings department.
Key Responsibilities
Specialized Application : Paint nails for customer orders (requires wearing a respirator).
Sample Preparation : Paint and ship brushouts to clients.
Quality Control : Take Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements using a microscope.
Color Formulation : Create accurate custom color matches based on specifications.
Inventory Management : Safely dispense paint and coatings for production.
Qualifications & Requirements
Good communication skills for coordinating shipments.
Strong visual awareness and exceptional color perception.
Experience with precision measurement tools or microscopy is an asset.
Ability to follow strict safety protocols, including wearing a respirator.
Reliable work ethic with strong attention to detail.
