Nous sommes à la recherche d’un CONSULTANT – PROJET IFRS 18 pour une entreprise publique à Laval. Ce mandat de trois mois avec possibilité d’extension sera en hybride, soit 3 jours en présentiel et 2 jours en télétravail.
Responsabilités:
- Diriger la mise en œuvre opérationnelle d’IFRS 18 et assurer l’avancement des livrables liés au projet dans le respect des échéanciers établis.
- Préparer, réviser et coordonner les rapports financiers externes destinés à un environnement de société ouverte, en veillant à la conformité aux normes applicables.
- Collaborer à la production de la documentation financière narrative, y compris les sections d’analyse de la direction et autres communications réglementaires pertinentes.
- Utiliser Workiva pour structurer, mettre à jour et harmoniser l’information financière diffusée aux parties prenantes internes et externes.
- Effectuer des analyses détaillées de données financières afin de valider l’exactitude, d’expliquer les écarts et de soutenir la prise de décision.
- Piloter des projets spéciaux liés à la présentation de l’information financière selon IFRS 18 et recommander des approches concrètes pour améliorer l’efficacité des livrables.
- Travailler étroitement avec les équipes internes afin de recueillir l’information requise et d’assurer une communication fluide en français et en anglais.
- Produire des présentations claires et professionnelles à l’aide d’Excel et de PowerPoint pour appuyer les revues de gestion et les besoins de communication financière.
We are seeking an IFRS 18 Project Consultant for a publicly traded company in Laval. This three-month contract, with the possibility of extension, will be hybrid, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational implementation of IFRS 18 and ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate external financial reports for a publicly traded company, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Contribute to the production of narrative financial documentation, including management analysis sections and other relevant regulatory communications.
- Use Workiva to structure, update, and harmonize financial information disseminated to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to validate accuracy, explain variances, and support decision-making.
- Lead special projects related to the presentation of financial information in accordance with IFRS 18 and recommend concrete approaches to improve the effectiveness of deliverables.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather the necessary information and ensure seamless communication in both French and English.
- Produce clear and professional presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to support management reviews and financial communication needs.

- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards, including hands-on experience in IFRS application or implementation.
- Solid understanding of external financial reports, regulatory requirements, and SEC or equivalent deliverables.
- Significant experience in preparing Management Documents & Analysis (MD& A) and other formal financial communications.
- Essential bilingualism, with the ability to work in French and produce reports in English in the United States.
- Knowledge of Workiva and excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage implementation projects and conduct rigorous in-depth analysis of financial information.
- Plus de 10 années d’expérience pertinente en information financière et en comptabilité technique.
- Expérience démontrée en reporting financier au sein d’une société cotée en bourse.
- Maîtrise approfondie des normes IFRS, incluant une expérience concrète en application ou en implantation d’IFRS.
- Solide compréhension des rapports financiers externes, des exigences réglementaires et des livrables de type SEC ou équivalents.
- Expérience significative dans la préparation de documents d’analyse de la direction (MD& A) et d’autres communications financières officielles.
- Bilinguisme essentiel, avec capacité de travailler en français et de produire des rapports en anglais aux Etats Unis.
- Connaissance de Workiva et Excellente maîtrise d’Excel et de PowerPoint.
- Capacité reconnue à gérer des projets d’implantation et à approfondir l’analyse de l’information financière avec rigueur.
