Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, helping clients achieve their wellness goals through personalized treatments. Weekend availability (Saturdays or Sundays) is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health history and specific concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment following health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic operations.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively listen to clients’ needs and explain treatment procedures clearly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays or Sundays).
- Reliable and consistent weekend availability is required.
