8130 Café is located at downtown core and partner with PlayON Space which is a brand-new state-of-the-art multi-level indoor playgroun in Fort Mcmurray. Our Café offers unique, healthy and delicious menu for Children and Adults and is characterized by contemporary and neutral design. We are looking for two passionate, reliable and responsible Full Time/Part Time Cook Supervisor to join our amazing team!
Responsibilities:
- Greeting Customers and take orders and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- Prepare food items in designated areas in accordance with company guidelines, standards of quality, technique, quantity control, taste, and presentation as established by the Management
- Monitor refrigerated and dry storage goods inventory levels daily.
- Assist with dishwashing duties.
- Receives and stores food and supplies; checks receiving slips for accuracy
- Assist in inventory counts when necessary.
- Maintain the work area in a safe and neat manner.
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- removes soiled tableware and garbage to specific locations, sorts recyclable materials
- Participate in daily kitchen cleanup, Remove kitchen garbage and trash,
Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, etc. prepares reports ,balances cash at the end of the shift, delivers cash locks in safe at the end of each shift
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for guests and other team members using respect, honesty and humility
- Other duties as assigned by the Management.Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of cooking experience
- Available in weekends
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to work 8 hours shifts
- Knowledge of food safety
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting as required, handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests and co-worker.
- Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant, or fast food is considered an asset.
