Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Line Cook to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, and a passion for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the consistent delivery of delicious, well-presented meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with meal planning and menu development in collaboration with management
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Enforce food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and customer service expectations
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with staff and management
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and restaurant operations
- Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
