Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, nursing, and medical procedures, with experience in medical cosmetics & aesthetics, pain management, or acute care settings. The Nurse Injector will be responsible for administering injections, assessment and treatment planning, providing exceptional patient care, supporting and educating patients regarding care options, and supporting the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer cosmetic and therapeutic injections following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Assess patient needs and medical histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients on procedures, post-treatment care, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments using electronic health records systems such as Accuro.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Assist in patient assessments related to pain management, case management, or chronic conditions.
Skills
- Proven experience with electronic health records systems (i.e., Accuro)
- Seasoned background in hospital, med/spa/cosmetics, nursing home, assisted living, or home care environments
- Expertise in patient care and safety across various populations.
- The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of cosmetic injectable experience (neuromodulator and dermal filler).
- Experience in pain management, case management, or specialty areas such as aesthetics and cosmetics.
- Knowledge of skin conditions an asset
- Interest in medical and cosmetic treatments
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of medical office operations and healthcare regulations (HPOA) is advantageous
