Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for helping individuals recover from injuries and improve their physical health. This role involves working in a hospital setting, with opportunities to engage with patients across various age groups, including pediatrics. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing high-quality rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license or certification to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Have Acupcunture modality is an asset.
