Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and construction. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, including residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Duties
- Build and install landscape features including flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig, plant, and maintain gardens, ensuring proper care for plants and soil health.
- Irrigate landscapes using appropriate methods to promote healthy growth.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through routine checks and basic mechanical knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to dig, plant, maintain gardens, and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required based on job location needs.
