Carpenter
Are you ready to take your industrial skills to the next level? We are looking for motivated Crpenters to join our team and play a key role in keeping our refinery operations safe, efficient, and reliable. This is your chance to make an impact, work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:

Interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the types of materials and equipment to use and plan the required tasks

Knowledge of construction terminology.

Read and understand the work permits.
-
Basic rigging knowledge
-
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment and maintains housekeeping of job site.

Returns all tools and materials used by the crew to the proper place at the end of shift.
-
Must fully participate in the safety assessment of the job and completion of JSA’s.

Fully participate in health, safety, quality and environmental processes.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Capable of constructing and installing formwork and temporary structures in accordance with blueprints and refinery safety standards
-
Candidate must have Journeyperson or, Red Seal certificate
-
Valid Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Powerline Hazard and WHMIS certificates will be considered as an added advantage
-
Ability to adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Working at heights and confined spaces
-
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
-
Regular lifting/moving up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting/moving >50 lbs.
-
Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
-
Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, standing, walking, and climbing.
-
Use of hand tools requiring precision and balance; work on ladders/scaffolding.
-
Exposure to loud noises and potential environmental hazards.
