Field Technician Assistant (Casual / Project-Based)
TruCorr Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to assist with industrial field projects throughout Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.
This is a casual, project-based position that is ideal for a student, apprentice, or someone looking to gain experience in the industrial, electrical, pipeline, or energy sectors. No previous experience is required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with field testing and data collection activities
- Move and place test equipment, cables, and small cable reels
- Record field measurements and observations
- Assist with project setup and demobilization
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Perform general field support duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Valid driver's license considered an asset
- H2S Alive and First Aid considered an asset
- Additional safety tickets (CSTS, CSO, Ground Disturbance, etc.) are beneficial
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry field equipment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in industrial environments
Position Details:
- Casual, project-based employment
- Hours will vary depending on project requirements
- Initial work is anticipated to be approximately five days in duration
- Additional project opportunities may become available throughout the year
- Travel may be required for some projects
Compensation:
- $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
