Retail Sales/Donations Associate – Duncan ReStore (Part-Time)

Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island (MVI) is looking for a friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our Duncan ReStore team. Every purchase and donation at the ReStore helps Habitat for Humanity MVI build affordable housing for local families.

The Role
This is a part-time position (up to 24 hours per week). Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Operating the cash register
- Accepting donations in-store and coordinating scheduled donation drop-offs
- Unpacking, organizing, pricing, and merchandising inventory
- Loading, moving, and displaying furniture and appliances
- Occasionally driving our 16-foot cube van to pick up donations

What You Bring
Required:
- Customer service or retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely move furniture and appliances
- Recent cash handling experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and a clear driver's abstract
Assets:
- Experience driving a 16-foot cube van
Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
