Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced (must have 5+years experience in a busy restaurant) evening line cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The line cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all food safety standards are met during evening shifts.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout the shift
- Follow food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Have food handlers certificate
- Able to work Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday night till close.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling safety standards
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting with high-volume meal preparation
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service excellence is a plus
- Great friendly & polite attitude
- Ability to communicate in English fluently
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
