High Torq Heavy Equipment Service Ltd.
Is seeking an experienced, Journeyman heavy equipment technician to join our team. Strong 3rd or 4th year with off road experience will be considered.
The shift for this position is Monday to Friday, weekends as needed. 8 - 12 hour shift per day
Shop is located in winterburn industrial. Occasional field work may be required. Service truck supplied.
The successful candidate must be proficient in maintaining and repairing and wide range of on and off road equipment.
Must have tool box and tools to support working on heavy equipment.
Experience with SIS and CAT ET, John deere service advisor, mykomastu ect, is a must.
Technician responsibilities will include;
- Technical diagnostics
- Proficient with CAT SIS & ET, service advisor, my komatsu, cummins insite ect
- Component replacement and rebuilds
- Welding & fabrication
- Inspection reports
- Air conditioning repairs
- Hydraulic troubleshooting
- Engine & powertrain diagnostics
Required Qualifications are
- Journeyman Red seal HET certification or an Alberta provincial HET certification with 3 years of post ticket experience
- A valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- The ability to work alone in a field setting or as a part of a team
- The ability to work through troubleshooting charts and read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- The experience that's needed to analyze problems and come up with safe, effective solutions
Job Type: Full-time
Wage: $45.00-$55.00 per hour - based on experience
Full time position - minimum 40 hr/ week
