Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable cabinet installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a red seal certification in joinery, experience in delivering and installing high calibre cabinetry and millwork, possess a keen eye for detail, and be willing to assist in the shop during slower installation periods. Our company is small so this is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of our team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cargo van to deliver cabinetry and millwork to various locations.
- Install custom cabinetry and millwork according to design specifications and blueprints.
- Ensure all installations meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installations.
- Assist in the shop with various tasks related to the cabinetry field.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required during installations and material handling.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinet installation required.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Valid driver's license with strong driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
