Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Overnight Staff to join our team in providing exceptional food service during late-night hours. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently during overnight shifts. The Overnight Staff will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction while supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant during evening hours.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to all guests
- Handle food with proper sanitation procedures, ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during overnight hours
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling protocols
- Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and restocking as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during overnight shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during late-night hours
- Kitchen experience or food handling certification is advantageous
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift
