Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and distribution operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and safety are paramount. Job specific training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, to load and unload and deliver materials to the warehouse and manufacturing lines efficiently and safely
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Pick, and prepare orders for shipment with attention to accuracy and timeliness
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and stock adjustments
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all warehouse operations
- Support packaging tasks for outgoing shipments as required
- Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping with manufacturing schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts, re certification is possible
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or warehouse distribution required
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and packing tasks
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Physical ability to load/unload materials and operate equipment safely

Pay: $33.00 per hour
