Our client is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the administrative, financial, and operational functions of a fast-paced distribution environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, financial accuracy, compliance with company policies, and continuous process improvement.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations professional who thrives on improving processes, leading teams, analyzing business performance, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple business functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Lead the day-to-day administrative and operational activities to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant business operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and continuously improve administrative and operational workflows.
- Ensure consistency and achievement of operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide leadership, coaching, and operational direction to administrative team members to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities.
- Support the development and delivery of training for employees involved in administrative and financial processes.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Develop and manage departmental budgets while monitoring expenses and ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
- Prepare, analyze, and present management reports including:
- Sales and gross margin performance
- Pricing analysis
- Vendor rebate analysis
- Customer profitability and performance reporting
- Operational performance metrics
- Provide meaningful insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and continuous operational improvement.
Financial Operations
Provide oversight and accountability for critical financial and administrative functions, including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Desk operations, submissions, and reconciliations
- Pricing management and maintenance
- Credits and Claims reconciliation
- Ship & Debit programs
- Daily shipping documentation and delivery note administration
Inventory & Operational Controls
- Maintain effective inventory control processes to ensure inventory accuracy and operational integrity.
- Oversee monthly internal control procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, reduce risk, and strengthen internal processes.
What You'll Bring
- Proven leadership experience in an Operations Manager, Business Operations, Office Manager, or similar operational leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, operational reporting, and business performance metrics.
- Experience overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, pricing administration, inventory controls, and cash management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations that improve operational performance.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience coaching and developing employees.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/business management systems.
- A continuous improvement mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
