About the Role
ACQBUILT is seeking a Production Framer/Carpenter to join our Production team inside the factory. In this role, you will manually build and assemble structural components including decks, stairs, and wall systems used in residential home construction.
Working as part of the Production Department, you will use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to build high-quality components according to company standards while maintaining safety and efficiency.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually build and assemble decks, stairs, walls, and related structural components according to production drawings and schedules.
- Measure, cut, and fasten materials accurately using hand tools, air tools, and power tools.
- Follow all safety procedures, workplace policies, and quality standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and structural quality.
- Maintain organized work areas and follow 5S housekeeping standards.
- Ensure required materials and supplies are available for production.
- Inform team leaders or supervisors of issues that may impact production timelines or quality.
- Assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support additional production and carpentry duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Carpentry, framing, or residential construction experience preferred.
- Ability to read measurements and follow production drawings or instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity required to safely operate tools and equipment.
- Standing, bending, and repetitive movement throughout shifts.
- Overtime may be required based on production demands.
