We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing organization. This position supports a group of corporations operating in the healthcare and professional services sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions across multiple entities while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with accounting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping and accounting records for multiple corporations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Payroll processing and payroll remittances
- GST filing and other government remittances
- Monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Prepare information and supporting documents for accountants and year-end filings
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist ownership and management with financial reporting and administrative projects as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience managing books for multiple companies is preferred
- Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of payroll, GST, and general accounting principles
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
